In this section, you learned about the most important features of socialism, social democracy, neoliberalism, nationalism and globalism. Based on our seven policies, you learned what each individual ideology proposes to do in order to maximize the societal prosperity. Additionally, the debates between those ideologies reveal the conflict lines they have which means that their ideas often oppose each other based on different convictions about the politico-economic system they advocate for. Now, after reading this part, you will be able to enhance your playstyle for each socio-economic group you might choose on the board. Most importantly, however, you will be able to assign different policy proposals you might encounter in the real world to a certain ideological framework. This will give you valuable insights about the actors who push for a certain policy and will tell you more about their underlying motivations, which more often than not, will be quite similar in nature to the ones you had while advocating for that policy on the board.
